Disney/Pixar’s Cars, Toy Story 3 Characters Visit Sacramento In Disney On Ice

Toy Story 3 Featured in Disney On Ice at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center

This past November, I went to my first Disney On Ice show. The Feld Entertainment Sacramento PR team gifted Inspired Imperfection free tickets to the opening night show and I was so excited. I took my mom, my 13 year old daughter, and my 10 year old son, and we made a night of it.

When I posted about the event on social media a few of my friends commented about old my kids are. They wondered why I was taking my older kids and just assumed that older kids wouldn’t enjoy it — that Disney On Ice is just for little kids. To be honest, my son wasn’t very excited to go, I think for the exact same reason.

But in reality, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. The four of us saw Disney On Ice presents Passport to Adventure and we had a blast! We ALL sang along with the songs, laughed at some of the silly moments, oohed and ahhed over the brilliant special effects, and ate some great food. Even at 10 and 13, my kids were enthralled with the show. They were hooked on the story lines, seeing the movies come to life through the sets, and watching the skaters perform daring tricks.

On the way home, my son, the skeptic of the night, even asked when Disney On Ice is coming to Sacramento again and if we were going to get to go. He had a great time and the next morning at school, I could hear him tell his friends all about how cool it was on the playground — and that show didn’t even has Lightning McQueen, Mater, or the Toy Story 3 Gang!
